Mozart The Abduction from the Seraglio: Overture
Mozart Symphony No.38 ‘Prague’
Nielsen Clarinet Concerto
Dvořák Slavonic Dances (selections)

Have a sublime evening out with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.

The concert opens with Mozart – the energetic overture from his Turkish comedy and his symphony composed for the city of Prague. Music Director Giordano Bellincampi is joined by APO Principal Clarinet Jonathan Cohen to perform Neilsen's fascinating Clarinet Concerto. And the evening closes with a selection of Dvořák’s infectiously high-spirited Slavonic Dances that will have us polka-ing out of the Town Hall.

Pride guests are invited to a pre-concert drink where they will be treated to a short and informative talk about the concert. Following the performance will be a Q&A with Giordano and Jonathan on the Town Hall stage about his journey as a musician and his career in orchestral music.
