Pride March

On 26 Feb we will gather in Albert Park where the very first gay liberation protest took place 50 years ago. 

To create the energy needed to echo through the city during the Auckland Pride March we’re kicking things off at midday. Shop at queer-owned markets, warm up your vocals with chant practice, make a statement at our sign making station and get inspired by local community advocacy groups before we gather around the Rotunda for speeches.

The March route remains the same as last year, we will march, walk, and wheel down Bowen and Victoria Streets, then up Queen Street, and into Aotea Square.
