Her work draws from religious upbringings, Te Ao Māori, Te Taiao, Sci-fi, Anime and the many intersections across these. Channeled through digital spheres as a way to bring these influences into one plain of visual storytelling.

Jazmin Tainui Mihi (Te Whānau ā Apanui, Whakatō hea, Ngati Hine, Ngapuhi) Kape-rua

Jazmin is a primarily self-taught visual storyteller and creative. Her artwork centres around celebrating Māori/Indigenous culture. She draws her inspiration from her knowledge of Tikanga Maori, Te Taiao and Papatuanuku to influenced her artwork and form her identity. Jaz works in multiple mediums, such as painting, digital art, photography and videography.
